Suspect dead, Delaware River Port Authority officer wounded

CAMDEN, N.J. (AP) – Gunfire following a traffic stop in Camden
leaves one man dead and a Delaware River Port Authority police
officer wounded.
Camden County prosecutor spokesman Bill Shralow says two patrol
cars pulled the suspect over after his vehicle left the Ben
Franklin Bridge.
Authorities say the suspect started firing after he was asked to
get out of the vehicle because he couldn’t show a license.
Officer Matt Gorman and his partner returned fire.
The suspect was pronounced dead at Cooper Trauma Center. His
name has not been released.
Gorman is in good condition with wounds to his side and ankle.
The 41-year-old husband has two children and is a five-year
veteran of the force.
