SAN JOSE, Calif. (AP) – It’s something that has drawn people to Apple’s iTune’s site — but at the same time used to drive some away. Until now, if you bought a single or two from an album, you paid 99 cents a tune. But if you decided to go back and buy the entire album, you’d have to shell out the complete nine-99 for the full product. That’s changing, with a new feature the company calls “Complete My Album.” Basically if you buy a track or two from a disc and later decide to buy the full album, you’d get credit for the singles you already bought. But when we say later, it’s not a lot later. The album price reduction is good for only 180 days after the initial purchase of individual tracks.
