ENTERTAINMENT SOFTWARE RATINGS BOARD

CYBERSPACE (AP) – Want to know if the video game or software title you’re planning to buy is suitable for a youngster — or pre-teen? One way to find out is the site run by the ESRB. The Entertainment Software Ratings Board is run by the industry — but does provide some insight into the nature of the titles available for use on computers and in the various video game systems. The site not only provides the ratings — but also gives brief reasons why the ratings are what they are. You can search the database by title, platform or game content.
