UNDATED (AP) - Spinal Tap finally got around to recording that song from their opera about Jack the Ripper.
A fully produced version of “Saucy Jack” is available as a free download on www.SpinalTap.com. The song is also available as a download for the game “Rock Band.” Spinal Tap are releasing an album called “Back From The Dead” today. It contains what the band calls “long self-suppressed studio versions” of the songs from the movie, as well as six new songs. John Mayer, Phil Collen of Def Leppard, guitarist Steve Vai and Keith Emerson of Emerson, Lake and Palmer are guest musicians.
