UNDATED (AP) – It appears the injuries sustained by Weezer singer Rivers Cuomo were more painful than previously thought. Weezer have canceled the rest of their tour for the year while Cuomo recovers from a bus accident. The band’s Web site reports the bus slid on black ice and fell eight feet into a ravine about 40 miles outside of Albany, New York, Sunday morning. Cuomo was in the back lounge and was tossed around violently, and his assistant, Sarah Kim, fell out of her upper bunk. Cuomo’s wife, baby daughter and nanny were also on board but were not hurt. The refrigerator fell off the wall and the sliding interior doors were fused shut. Cuomo and Kim were taken to a hospital. Kim has been released, but Cuomo is still hospitalized with three cracked ribs and internal damage.
