State Police arrested a woman at Atlantic City International Airport after she became irate and shouted that she had a bomb.
Trooper Brian Polite says Ethel Eddy was going through security Thursday when a screener noticed she had more liquid in her carry-on than permitted. The screener opened the Hamilton Township resident’s luggage and removed the liquid.
Polite says the Atlantic County resident became irate and shouted three times that she had a bomb.
Screeners shut down the checkpoint and called State Police.
Eddy was released on a summons after she was charged with creating a false public alarm.
