LOS ANGELES (AP) – Apple is trying to get your music into the cloud. There’s word the company is close to nailing down a deal with all four major recording companies that will let users stream songs stored on remote computer servers. A person familiar with the plan says the on-the-go music could be played on any number of Apple-made devices. It would also eliminate the need for devices with storage space – and presumably the need to sync portable devices to a computer to transfer songs. It’s expected the cloud music service will be unveiled at Apple’s annual developers’ conference in San Francisco, which gets under way on June 6.
