New Jersey’s Stevens Institute of Technology will be one of 20 teams from around the world participating in the Solar Decathlon 2013. U.S. Energy Secretary Steven Chu announced the selection on Thursday. The teams will have two years to build solar-powered, highly energy-efficient homes that combine affordability, consumer appeal and design.
