CHICAGO (AP) – If you’ve ever yelled “hey!” at people to get their attention, then you understand the driving force behind The Lumineers song “Ho Hey.” Frontman Wesley Schultz says th! ey yelled “ho” and “hey” at people in clubs who were not paying attention. Lyrically the song is about having the wrong focus as well. Schultz says he wrote it in response to moving to Brooklyn hoping to make it as a musician, but then finding he had to work for a living and didn’t have time to do music.
