NJ officials reopen shellfish beds
New Jersey environmental officials will reopen shellfish beds in Delaware Bay today. The beds were shuttered just before Superstorm Sandy hit. Officials feared heavy rains might wash harmful bacteria into the water that would affect the shellfish.
