Sandy power outages report

An Associated Press analysis of power outage times caused by big hurricanes and tropical storms suggests that the response to Superstorm Sandy by utilities was typical, or even a little faster than.  Energy Department records show that New Jersey utilities restored power to at least 95 percent of customers 11 days after the peak number of outages was reported.
