Monmouth County Sen. Jennifer Beck has proposed designating Jan. 11 as Clarence Clemons Day in New Jersey, to honor Bruce Springsteen’s legendary saxophone player. Clemons, who was born Jan. 11, died last year at age 69. The resolution honoring Clemons will be taken up by a Senate committee on Thursday.
