Family Resource Associates

Family Resource Associates is a Shrewsbury non-profit agency that helps children, adolescents and people of all ages with disabilities reach their fullest potential. FRA connects individuals to independence through modern therapies and advanced technology. Acknowledging the powerful influence of the family, they remain committed to them by offering both support and education.  FRA assists individuals of all ages who have developmental delays or disabilities as well as acquired disabilities.

The group provides home-based early intervention for infants, therapeutic recreation programs and assistive technology services, along with family and sibling support groups.  Resourceful, flexible, and experienced staff members encourage independence of the individual and the family. Implementation of diverse and responsive programs is furthered by up-to-date technology and information. Coordination with outside resources is also an important aspect of the agency.
