A post-Christmas storm has brought high winds and snow to New Jersey. The National Weather Service says Jersey Shore residents were whipped by winds as strong as 74 mph. In northern and western areas of the state, some communities got more than six inches of snow. The weather service says the strongest gust of wind was 74 mph recorded in Brick at about 9:30 p.m. Wednesday.
