Another gun buyback program in northern New Jersey has produced another bumper crop of firearms. Jersey City officials say they got more than 120 weapons at Saturday’s event, which was staged at a city church. People who turned in their firearms received $100 for rifles and $150 for handguns and automatic weapons. Funding for the buyback program came from private and corporate donors, as well as the Hudson County Prosecutor’s Office forfeiture funds.
