WEST LONG BRANCH, N.J. (AP) — New Jersey’s Monmouth University has selected the dean of Lehigh University’s College of Business and Economics in Pennsylvania as its next president.
Paul Brown in August will succeed Paul Gaffney II, who will retire in July after ten years at the private school at the Jersey shore.
Brown became dean of the business school at Lehigh in 2007. He’s credited with managing historically high levels of enrollment as well as recruiting and hiring faculty at an unprecedented pace.
Brown says it is his honor to serve the students at Monmouth.
