FREEHOLD, N.J. (AP) — A former high school football star and his older brother are charged with trafficking drugs along the central New Jersey coast.
Monmouth County prosecutors tell the Asbury Park Press that 27-year-old Kenneth Cattouse and his 32-year-old brother, Anthony Cattouse Jr., are accused of selling heroin and cocaine to undercover investigators. Authorities say they seized large amounts of cash and drugs during raids that culminated a two-month investigation.
Kenneth Cattouse was a standout running back at Keyport High School, ending his career as the Shore Conference’s all-time rushing leader before playing collegiately at Troy University.
Kenneth Cattouse’s girlfriend also faces drug charges stemming from the investigation. It was not known Sunday if any of the three had retained lawyers.
