BILLIE JOE ARMSTRONG WRITING SONGS FOR MUSICAL

NEW HAVEN, Conn. (AP) – Billie Joe Armstrong of Green Day has the theater bug. He’s writing music for “These Paper Bullets,” a rock version of Shakespeare’s “Much Ado About Nothing.” The show will premiere at the Yale Repertory Theatre in New Haven, Connecticut, next March. Armstrong also wrote the music for the musical “American Idiot.”
