NEWARK, N.J. (AP) — Rail passengers should not be alarmed if they see more police and emergency personnel in Newark.
NJ Transit Police will conduct a training exercise at the Newark Light Rail NJPAC/Center Street Station on Saturday.
The drill, which will test the response to a light rail emergency, will start at 8 a.m. and last about four hours.
Newark Light Rail service will operate on a single track between Newark Penn and Newark Broad Street stations during the drill.
