TRENTON, N.J. (AP) — A new poll shows a majority of New Jerseyans think Gov. Chris Christie is eyeing a presidential run, and many believe he’s already planning his next campaign.
The Monmouth University/Asbury Park Press Poll out Wednesday finds nearly two-thirds believe Christie wants to run for president in 2016. He’s currently seeking a second term as New Jersey’s governor.

The poll shows 61 percent believe Christie is healthy enough to be president, while 20 percent say he’s not.
The telephone survey of 783 adults was taken Sept. 6-10. It has an error margin of plus or minus 3.5 percentage points.
