FREEHOLD, NJ – The Office on Aging, Disabilities and Veterans Services has moved to the County’s Human Services building at 3000 Kozloski Road.
“This move is part of the County’s ongoing efforts to consolidate County operations and get County offices out of leased buildings,” said Freeholder John P. Curley, liaison to the Office on Aging, Disabilities and Veterans Services. “The goal is to make County services convenient for our residents and moving this office into the Human Services building brings us one step closer to that goal.”
The Office on Aging was established by the Monmouth County Board of Chosen Freeholders in 1975 and utilizes federal, state, and county funds to develop programs and partnerships to deliver essential services to the seniors of Monmouth County.
The Office on Aging offers information about the services, programs and resources available to county residents 60 years of age and older. Programs funded through the Office on Aging include providing supportive services for caregivers, transportation, home care, physical fitness, education and recreation. The Office on Disabilities provides information, referral and advocacy for individuals with disabilities and their families. The office also serves as liaison to state and non-profit agencies who provide assistance to County residents who need to access services. To reach the Office on Disabilities, call 732-308-3770.
