ASBURY PARK, N.J. (AP) — Dozens of zombies were among the hundreds of revelers who filled the streets of a Jersey Shore community to celebrate the Irish and all things green.
Sunday’s event in Asbury Park marked the first time the city has held a St. Patrick’s Day parade. It featured several local bands and numerous community groups.
The event also gave the zombies a chance to strut their stuff in familiar surroundings. Asbury Park is home to the annual Zombie Walk, which draws thousands of costumed characters to the city each fall.
