AAA Mid-Atlantic: NJ gas prices still falling

TRENTON, N.J. (AP) — Motorists continue to see lower prices at the pumps in New Jersey.

AAA Mid-Atlantic says the average price of a gallon of regular gasoline in the state on Friday was $3.50, down 3 cents from last week. But that’s still higher than the price from a year ago, when motorists were paying $3.37.

This marks the second straight week that gas prices have fallen in New Jersey.

The national average price was $3.65, down a penny from last week. But that’s still higher than the national average from a year ago, when motorists were paying $3.60.

Analysts say gas prices should continue to fall over the next few weeks.
