Attempted Luring in Toms River

Police have released the sketch of a man they are seeking in connection with a child luring attempt that happened about 6 p.m. Friday on Terrace Avenue near Marian Street, said Ralph Stocco, police spokesperson.

A woman called police to an address on Terrace Avenue to report that a man attempted to lure her nephew from the fenced-in yard, reported responding Police Officer George Fernicola, Stocco said.

A composite of the man was developed by police sketch artist Sgt. Christopher McDowell who worked with the woman in the description.

The man is described as a white male in his early to mid-twenties with a thin build. He has medium long black hair and is clean shaven. He is wanted for questioning at this time.
