BRICK, N.J. (AP) — Authorities say a gas station attendant stabbed during a robbery should recover from his wounds.
Brick Township police say the stabbing occurred early Monday afternoon, when a man approached the attendant and demanded money.
The suspect fled the scene after the stabbing occurred, and it was not known if he got any money.
The injured attendant was taken to a hospital and underwent surgery. His injuries were not considered life-threatening, but further details were not disclosed.
