State police release name of worker hurt in crane accident

BRICK, N.J. (AP) — State police have released the name of a construction worker who was seriously injured when a crane tipped over near the Garden State Parkway in southern New Jersey.

Christopher Graham was operating the crane in a construction zone around milemarker 91 on the northbound side of the highway in Brick when the accident occurred around 10 a.m. Saturday. Authorities say the crane overturned and went down an embankment.

NJ.com reports that the 39-year-old Lacey man was soon flown to a hospital and was listed in stable condition on Sunday. But further details on his injuries have not been disclosed.

The cause of the accident remains under investigation by state police and the Brick police department.
