PATERSON, N.J. (AP) – Jurors have reached a verdict at the trial
of a woman who said she was yelled at for breast feeding at Tiffany
in the Short Hills Mall.
The panel says a worker could not have known Rosa Almond was
The mother of two from Wayne had testified she carefully covered
her breast with a blanket when she nursed her four-month-old
daughter in 2002.
The defense argued the worker had simply asked Almond to move
her double stroller out of the way and never noticed she was breast
Almond filed suit under the state’s Law Against Discrimination.
