LADY AND THE GRAMPS
Lady and the Gramps are an acoustic trio hailing from Monmouth County, NJ. Back in 2021, a collection of music lovers met at Lakehouse Music Academy and formed the band Slipped Disk, which has had the honor of performing at venues such as The Stone Pony, Asbury Lanes, The Saint and the Wonder Bar. Early the following year, three of its members decided to create an acoustic side piece for the band and Lady and the Gramps was born! As well as performing memorable original songs, band members Jessica Yalango (vocals), Dan Pitzer (backup vocals/guitar) and Vinnie Tripodi (guitar) put their own acoustic spin on a variety of music from The Beatles to Oasis, Melissa Etheridge, The Cranberries, Radiohead, LIT and even The Interrupters! They’re looking forward to a summer full of music. Follow Lady and the Gramps on Facebook for information about upcoming performances!
GorillaBob. He’s a self-described, willful participator who enjoys songs and stories; tales of derring-do; pleasant palaver; rural ribaldry; raucous Rusticana; snappy patter and fancy banter. He’s not so much “quick”, as much as he’s “sudden”. He is anticlimactic as well as anti-semantic.
