Hazlet Bank Robbery Suspected Arrested

A Laurence Harbor man has been charged with the robbery of a Santander Bank in Hazlet on Sunday. Police say that Stephen Fedorka entered the bank on Route 35 before 10 A-M, handed a teller a note demanding money, and stating he had a gun.

NJ.com reports that Fedorka fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash. He was arrested Sunday after a joint investigation by Hazlet police, the Monmouth County Prosecuter’s Office and the FBI.

This is the second count of bank robbery for th man, who was charged with another robbery in Hazlet. If convicted he can face up to 20 years in state prison.
