Opening Geanna Merola “Window Works”

Geanna Merola lived on Elizabeth Street in New York City for 17 years. During that time, she photographed the windows of the shops that lined the downtown streets, and eventually found her way to the lighting district in Lower Manhattan. Being drawn to patterns and the layering of imagery, she started recording the dream-like imagery of the hanging crystal lamps visible through the large glass panes. Geanna Merola, “Window Works” will open at the Oyster Point Gallery on Friday, June 3rd, 2022, at 6:00 p.m. There will be an artist talk on Sunday, 6/26 at 3:00 pm.
