Things To Do While Social Distancing

Social distancing may have us all inside but there is no need to spend your time bored. Many sites and locations have made offerings easy to access online. Below we have Arts & Music:

Google Arts & Culture is like a virtual museum with some pretty interesting exhibits for every age group.

NPR Music has created a list of live streamed concerts and performances which we have been digging. They’re even welcoming submissions from musicians who are streaming their gigs.

Educational & Fun for Kids:
Good Housekeeping put together a list of crafts that will keep kids engaged and busy… with adult supervision of course.

We can’t go to the zoo at the moment, but this Online Zoo could fill the desire to learn about animals… for now.

Waterford.org compiled a list of virtual field trips aimed at youngsters curious about the world.

tripsavvy.com also posted a list of virtual field trips for kids of all ages.

Georgia Aquarium have webcam feeds of some of their fish. (I’m starting to be a big fan of the Puffins)

Kennedy Center has a whole bunch of online activities for kids and parents.
