LINCROFT, NJ – The Monmouth County Board of County Commissioners is inviting job-seekers to attend the 2023 Fall Job Fair to be held at the Robert J. Collins Arena at Brookdale Community College, Lincroft, on Thursday, Sept. 28, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

TRENTON – Earlier this week, Governor Phil Murphy signed a bill (A-5060/S-3440) to expand eligible reasons for which a school district employee may use their sick leave.

TRENTON – The New Jersey Department of Labor and Workforce Development (NJDOL) is awarding more than $8.6 million in grant funding through the Growing Apprenticeship In Nontraditional Sectors (GAINS), Pre-Apprenticeship in Career Education (PACE), and New Jersey Builders Utilization Initiative for Labor Diversity (NJBUILD) Women and Minorities in Construction grant programs to foster the creation and expansion of apprenticeships throughout the state and the development of training opportunities for minorities and women in construction and related trades.

TRENTON – The New Jersey Civil Service Commission (CSC) approved a motion this week to extend the Model Telework Pilot Program for New Jersey State employees until June 30, 2024. The program has been designed to help the State of New Jersey remain competitive with the private sector and attract top talent by continuing to provide flexibility for State employees while maintaining essential services and responding to the needs of constituents.
