A celebration of coastal water activities, including - kayaking, fishing, crabbing, seining, shelling, sandcastle building, children's crafts, nature activities, food vendors and so much more!

Free admission, free parking at the Belford Ferry Terminal. Shuttle buses will take visitors to and from Bayshore Waterfront Park.

Following last year’s successful inaugural event, the Borough of Sea Bright is excited to announce the return of a new local favorite: the 2nd Annual Sea Bright Day, which takes place on Saturday, September 19, 2026, from 1 pm  to 6 pm  (Rain date: Saturday, September 26).
Held in the municipal parking lot, the 2026 event brings together residents, neighbors, and visitors to celebrate all things Sea Bright.
This year’s event highlights and activities include:
• Bubble show: A fun, interactive experience the kids won’t want to miss!
• Food & refreshments: The Fire Department beer truck, local food vendors, and the return of Mrs. Rooney’s legendary hot dogs 
• Dunk tank fun
• Touch-a-truck interactive displays 
• Local trivia with the Sea Bright Historical Society 
• Local craft vendors 
• Inflatables & games 
• Kids arts & crafts zone
• 50/50 raffle to support the Sea Bright Library
• Sunset beach bonfire: The day's festivities cap off with a bonfire on the beach starting at 6 pm
"Last year's debut proved just how much heart and energy our borough has," says Mayor Brian Kelly. "Sea Bright Day brought our neighbors, local businesses, and municipal teams together in a truly special way. We can’t wait to build on that success for our second annual celebration."
Sea Bright Day is made possible through the combined efforts of the Borough Council, municipal departments, local committees, and area businesses. Day-of volunteers are welcome to join the effort. In the spirit of collaboration and appreciation for musical brilliance, we bring you our monthly concert series — pairing tunes from legendary masters of rock, along with some unsung heroes following in their footsteps. Settle in for an intimate vibe akin to MTV Unplugged, Storytellers and Behind the Music, as singer/guitarist Kevin Spyker performs timeless hits and hidden gems, accompanied by an array of instrumentalists from the Belmar Arts music collective.

Reserve your seats for our series launch on May 18th — highlighting the music of rock icon Tom Petty, with an opening set honoring the up-and-coming band known as Dawes...each month we will tribute two different bands.

Between songs we’ll share some history and fun facts about our featured songsters.

We’re honored to name our tribute series after the memorable Dawes song / album “All Your Favorite Bands” with the anthemic refrain:

“I hope that life without a chaperone is what you thought it'd be,

I hope your brother's El Camino runs forever,

I hope the world sees the same person that you've always been to me,

And may all your favorite bands stay together!”

All community members and professionals are invited to come and meet the people behind YMCA Counseling & Social Services. Guests will get their passport stamped as they move through stations and learn about the wide range of mental health, recovery, youth, and family support services available locally. Parents and caregivers, educators and guidance counselors, healthcare professionals, referral partners, local businesses, law enforcement, college students pursuing behavioral health careers, and anyone interested in learning about local mental health resources are encouraged to attend.
