We are currently overloaded with paperbacks and children's books. You will also find puzzles, games, vinyl records, DVDs and CDs as well as books on tape and large print books. In 1933, Charlie, a Polish-born Jew who emigrated to America a decade earlier, returns to his hometown of Rovno in search of a bride. There Charlie meets Chava, who works at a hat shop and hopes to become a scholar. However, Chava’s ambitions for the future and the growing clouds of European anti-Semitism and persecution threaten both their dreams.

Come share your musical passions at Belmar Art Center's Weekly Open Mic and Music Workshop!

Attention songwriters and musicians, a new open mic is town. We have been facilitating a Tuesday WEEKLY open mic and workshop, every TUESDAY for artists to hone and share their amazingness and receive feedback for over 3 years now!
If you wish to share an original of yours, awesome. If you want to play a cover, great. You may want to just share an idea with a band to see what it sounds like. That's great. This open mic is designed for collaborators and experimentalist alike, to try new things, and be open to different possibilities. Join our hosts multi-instrumentalist Andy Demos & singer, song writer, guitarist Alex Sanders every Tuesday Night.

To Commemorate the 100-year Anniversary of The Great Gatsby, embrella Promises a Swell Time at Speakeasy by the Sea event on the Navesink River
embrella, a foster care statewide non-profit organization, is hosting a prohibition themed fundraising event at the OceanFirst Bank Headquarters overlooking the beautiful Navesink River on July 31st.
Tickets to this shindig are available May 1st at an early bird rate of $75 per person. After June 15th, $95 clams. The evening begins at 6 pm and will include a cocktail hour, an open bar with beer, wine & signature champagne cocktail, a buffet dinner, and sweet treats.
Listen to New York Native, Izze Stein, as she takes guests back to the Jazz Age with her live performance. Gals - no pearls? Gents - no fedora? No Sweat.
