Monmouth County High School District Cutting Courtesy Busing

Schools are required to provide free busing for students who live farther than 2.5 miles from the school. The district now provides courtesy busing for students who live closer. The move is projected to save the district $3.5 million. Freehold Regional serves students in Colts Neck, Englishtown, Farmingdale, Freehold Borough, Freehold Township, Howell, Manalapan and Marlboro.
