Trader Joe's to Open a Store in Middletown

A spokeswoman for Middletown told the Patch that A contractor for Trader Joe’s filed the zoning permit application this past Friday. It is slated to occupy the space that previously housed Walgreens Pharmacy in Middletown Plaza on Rt. 35 and Harmony Road. The space has been vacant for about nine months since Walgreens closed last year.
