Today through Saturday, highs will reach the 90s with possible triple-digit heat toward the end of the week. Seventeen counties are under a heat advisory with higher temperatures tomorrow all the way to Saturday. Areas along the Jersey Shore and in southern most parts of the state will be slightly cooler. The heat index on Friday and Saturday could make it feel as high as 106 degrees.
