NJ Transit Train Struck a Pedestrian in Middletown

According to MSN, yesterday morning, a pedestrian was hit and killed by an NJ Transit train.

The man was hit in the area of the Normandy Road Bridge in Middletown, just south of the Middletown station around 7:25. Train No. 3224 left Long Branch station and was due at New York Penn Station at 8:41 a.m.. Service was suspended between the Long Branch and Aberdeen-Matawan stations. There were 120 passengers and crew members aboard.
