TRENTON – The New Jersey Department of Labor and Workforce Development (NJDOL) has awarded $7.9 million in the most recent round of grant funding through the Growing Apprenticeship in Nontraditional Sectors (GAINS) and Pre-Apprenticeship in Career Education (PACE) grant programs to foster the creation and expansion of apprenticeship and pre-apprenticeship programs throughout the state.

TRENTON, NJ – The Murphy Administration today announced the award of $100 million in Boardwalk Preservation Fund grants to 18 municipalities to assist them in addressing the most critical and necessary capital needs of boardwalks in their communities. Administered by the New Jersey Department of Community Affairs (DCA), the grant funding also aims to help Jersey shore communities remain vibrant tourism destinations in the long term by investing in state-of-the-art materials that increase storm resiliency and ensure longer lasting infrastructure.

TRENTON, NJ – Just three years shy of the New Jersey Cannabis Regulatory Commission’s (NJ-CRC) establishment and just under two years into adult-use (recreational) sales, the agency’s dispensary directory now lists 102 medicinal and recreational cannabis dispensaries across the state.

Governor Phil Murphy signed Executive Order No. 354 establishing the New Jersey-India Commission. The commission will be charged with advancing bilateral trade and investment and encouraging economic development in both New Jersey and India. As India is the most populous country in the world with one of the fastest-growing economies, the commission aims to promote cultural and educational exchanges between New Jersey and India and to promote sustainable long-term economic growth.
